This is a photo of a fallen friend. We had just finished tracking a guitar part on our first ever day in the studio, I believe, when Dan set down his guitar. It suddenly fell to the floor (!), subsequently suffering a fatal neck break. In the end, perhaps, it was the sacrificial lamb to the Gods of Rock who, in return, bestowed us with melodic excellence.
